Special Olympics British Columbia

In 2018, the official logo for the Winter Games in Greater Vernon was released by Special Olympics BC. This was the first time in the history of the Games that a host community branded the event, and we were honored to be part of this historic moment.

The inspiration for the logo was based both on the sense of place that is Greater Vernon as well as the enthusiasm and joy brought forth from the participants. The colours chosen represent the sun, water and land that is synonymous with the Okanagan while the logo shape represents the energy of the competitors and volunteers.
